Jantan Tak guna

Sejuta Nafas Cinta.....

Tetapi makin hari makin jauh......

Sejuta nafas cinta bergelut rindu dendam,
Membuat diri hilang arah dan pedoman,
Sejuta nafas cinta mengintai hijab kasih,
Membuat diri asyik dan kasmaran,

Sunyi mengundang ilham indah kata - kata,
Sepi mencipta madah hias duka lara,

Kau penawar jiwa,
Kau sinar segala - gala,
Andai cinta gurauan untuk apa tangisan,

Beralah malam siang bertakhta,
Hariku masih gelita,
Beredar hujan panas berlegar,
Rindu masih tegar,

Sejuta nafas cinta menyulam rintih pilu,
Membuat diri racau dalam lamunan

Gang-rape victim's body to arrive today

Gang-rape victim's body to arrive today

SINGAPORE/NEW DELHI: The body of an Indian woman who died in a Singapore hospital after a brutal gang-rape in New Delhi will be flown back on a chartered plane later Saturday, India's ambassador said.

"The requisite formalities for sending the body to India are being completed," Indian High Commissioner T.C.A. Raghavan told reporters, hours after the woman died of multiple organ failure at the Singapore hospital where she was being treated.

"The deceased and her family members will be flown back to India in a chartered aircraft later this afternoon," Raghavan said.

Earlier, the unfortunate girl's gang rape in New Delhi had triggered violent protests, who died of her injuries on Saturday in a Singapore hospital, bringing a security lock down in Delhi and recognition from India's prime minister that social change is needed.

The Indian capital braced for a new wave of protests, closing metro stations and banning vehicles from the city centre district where young activists had converged to demand improved women's rights. The news came in the early hours of the morning in India and there were no signs of protests as morning broke.

The 23-year-old medical student, severely beaten, raped and thrown out of a moving bus in New Delhi two weeks ago, had been flown to Singapore in a critical condition by the Indian government on Thursday for specialist treatment.

"We are very sad to report that the patient passed away peacefully at 4:45 a.m. on Dec 29, 2012 (2045 GMT Friday). Her family and officials from the High Commission (embassy) of India were by her side," Mount Elizabeth Hospital Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Loh said in a statement.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in a statement he was deeply saddened by the death and described the emotions associated with her case as "perfectly understandable reactions from a young India and an India that genuinely desires change. "It would be a true homage to her memory if we are able to channelize these emotions and energies into a constructive course of action."

Delhi's Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit, expressed revulsion. "It is a shameful moment for me not just as a chief minister but also as a citizen of this country," she said. The woman, who has not been identified, and a male friend were returning home from the cinema by bus on the evening of Dec. 16 when, media reports say, six men on the bus beat them with metal rods and repeatedly raped the woman. The reports say a rod was used in the rape, causing internal injuries. Both were thrown from the bus. The male friend survived the attack.

Singh's government has been battling criticism that it was tone-deaf to the outcry that followed the attack and was heavy handed in its response to the protests in the Indian capital. Most rapes and other sex crimes in India go unreported and offenders are rarely punished, women's rights activists say. But the brutality of the Dec. 16 assault sparked public outrage and calls for better policing and harsher punishment for rapists.

T.C.A. Raghavan, the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, told reporters hours after the woman's death that a chartered aircraft would fly her body back to India on Saturday, along with members of her family. The woman's body had earlier been loaded into a van at the hospital and driven away.

In New Delhi, the Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police, Satyendra Garg, told NDTV news channel that residents and commuters were advised to avoid the city centre. The case has received blanket coverage on cable television news channels. Some Indian media have called the woman "Amanat", an Urdu word meaning "treasure".

Talking to reporters earlier on Saturday, Raghavan declined to comment on Indian media reports accusing the government of sending her to Singapore to minimise the possible backlash in the event of her death. Some Indian medical experts had questioned the decision to airlift the woman to Singapore, calling it a risky manoeuvre given the seriousness of her injuries. They had said she was already receiving the best possible care in India.

But Dr B.D. Athani, medical superintendent of the New Delhi hospital where she had initially been treated, told Indian television the intention was to give the victim the best chance of surviving in what he described as "an extreme case". "Her condition was very critical from day one. We had managed what best we could do at our end ... she had to be shifted to a centre with much better facilities."

On Friday, the Singapore hospital had said the woman's condition had taken a turn for the worse. It said she had suffered "significant brain injury". She had already undergone three abdominal operations before arriving in Singapore.

The suspects in the rape - five men aged between 20 and 40, and a juvenile - were arrested within hours of the attack and are in custody. Media reports say they are likely to be formally charged with murder next week. Commentators and sociologists say the rape tapped into a deep well of frustration many Indians feel over what they see as weak governance and poor leadership on social and economic issues.

Many protesters have complained that Singh's government has done little to curb the abuse of women in the country of 1.2 billion. A global poll by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in June found that India was the worst place to be a woman because of high rates of infanticide, child marriage and slavery.

New Delhi has the highest number of sex crimes among India's major cities, with a rape reported on average every 18 hours, according to police figures. Government data show the number of reported rape cases in the country rose by nearly 17 percent between 2007 and 2011.

Indian gang rape victim dies; protesters defy lock-down

NEW DELHI/SINGAPORE (Reuters) - A woman whose gang rape sparked protests and a national debate about violence against women in India died of her injuries on Saturday, prompting a security lockdown in New Delhi and an acknowledgement from India's prime minister that social change is needed.
The six suspects held in connection with the December 16 attack on the 23-year-old medical student on a New Delhi bus were charged with murder following her death, police said. The maximum penalty for murder is death.
Earlier, bracing for a new wave of protests, Indian authorities deployed thousands of policemen, closed 10 metro stations and banned vehicles from some main roads in the heart of New Delhi, where demonstrators have converged since the attack to demand improved women's rights.
Despite efforts to cordon off the city centre, more than 1,000 people gathered for peaceful protests at two locations. Some protesters shouted for justice, others for the death penalty for the rapists.
The woman severely beaten, raped and thrown out of a moving bus, had been flown to Singapore in a critical condition by the Indian government on Thursday for treatment.
The intense media coverage of the attack and the use of social media to galvanize protests, mostly by young middle-class students, has forced political leaders to confront some uncomfortable truths about the treatment of women in the world's largest democracy.
Most sex crimes in India go unreported, many offenders go unpunished, and the wheels of justice turn slowly, according to social activists who say that successive governments have done little to ensure the safety of women.
"The need of the hour is a dispassionate debate and inquiry into the critical changes that are required in societal attitudes," Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in a statement.
"I hope that the entire political class and civil society will set aside narrow sectional interests and agenda to help us all reach the end that we all desire - making India a demonstrably better and safer place for women to live in."
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in the northern Indian city of Lucknow. In Hyderabad, in southern India, a group of women marched to demand severe punishment for the rapists. Protests were also held in the cities of Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
The demonstrations were peaceful, unlike last weekend, when police used batons, water cannon and teargas in clashes with protesters.
Sonia Gandhi, the powerful leader of the ruling Congress party, directly addressed the protesters in a rare broadcast on state television, saying that as a mother and a woman she understood their grievances.
"Your voice has been heard," Gandhi said. "It deepens our determination to battle the pervasive and the shameful social attitudes that allow men to rape and molest women with such impunity."
The Indian government has chartered an aircraft to fly the student's body back to India on Saturday, along with members of her family, T.C.A. Raghavan, the Indian high commissioner to Singapore, told reporters.
The body was taken to a Hindu casket firm in Singapore for embalming. Indian diplomats selected a gold and yellow coffin to transport her home, staff at the firm told reporters.
"She was courageous in fighting for her life for so long against the odds but the trauma to her body was too severe for her to overcome," Kelvin Loh, chief executive officer of the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore said in a statement announcing her death from multiple organ failure.
The victim and a male friend were returning home from the cinema by bus when, media reports say, six men on the bus beat them with metal rods and repeatedly raped the woman. Media said a rod was used in the rape, causing internal injuries. Both were thrown from the bus. The male friend survived.
Six suspects, from a slum in south Delhi, are in custody.
The attack has put gender issues centre stage in Indian politics arguably for the first time. Issues such as rape, dowry-related deaths and female infanticide have rarely entered mainstream political discourse.
Analysts say the death of the woman dubbed "Amanat", an Urdu word meaning "treasure," by some media could change that, although it is too early to say whether the protesters calling for government action to better safeguard women can sustain their momentum through to national elections due in 2014.
WORST PLACE
The outcry over the attack caught the government off-guard and it was slow to reach. It took a week for Singh to make a statement on the attack, infuriating many protesters who saw it as a sign of a government insensitive to the plight of women.
The prime minister, a stiff 80-year-old technocrat who speaks in a low monotone, has struggled to channel the popular outrage in his public statements and convince critics that his eight-year-old government will now take concrete steps to improve the safety of women.
"The Congress managers were ham-handed in their handling of the situation that arose after the brutal assault on the girl. The crowd management was poor," a lawmaker from Singh's ruling Congress party said on condition of anonymity.
Commentators and sociologists say the rape has tapped into a deep well of frustration many Indians feel over what they see as weak governance and poor leadership on social issues.
A global poll by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in June found that India was the worst place to be a woman because of high rates of infanticide, child marriage and slavery.

Cara Guna dumble

SILA BACA INFO DIBAWAH

Dumbbell Clean and Press

From the starting position, dip your hips and explode upward, forcefully pulling the weights up. As the weights near your chest, dip under and “catch” them on top of your shoulders. Stand, press the weights overhead, then reverse the move.

Dumbbell Squat

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a pair of dumbbells at your sides. Keeping your back naturally arched, bend at the hips and knees to lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Push back up to a standing position.
Dumbbell Split Squat
Hold dumbbells at your sides and stand with your right foot forward and your left foot back. Lower your body until your front knee is bent 90 degrees and your rear knee nearly touches the floor. Return to the starting position. Do 8 reps, switch legs and repeat.

 Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift
Holding a pair of dumbbells at your sides, stand with your feet just beyond shoulder-width apart. Push your hips back and squat as deeply as possible, keeping your lower back naturally arched. Push back up to the starting position without rounding your back.
Dumbbell Swings
With your feet shoulder-width apart, hold a dumbbell’s handle with both hands. Extend your arms in front of your chest. Keeping your arms straight adds more work to your shoulders. Next, slightly bend your knees and swing the dumbbell between your legs. Bring the dumbbell back up to chest level as you rise.

Dumbbell Curl
Grab a pair of dumbbells with an underhand grip and hold them at arm’s length next to your thighs. Curl the dumbbells towards your chest as far as you can without moving your upper arms. Pause, and slowly lower the weights to the starting position.

Prosiding pendakwaan semalam dijalankan Pegawai Pendakwa Asisten Superintendan Zulkifli Osman.

Peringatan Kepada Tentera Yahudi Israel

by Diwanz Almn III, Living A Journey.

GAZA: Barisan pejuang bergelar Komando Qassam kini menjadi pasukan paling digeruni Israel berikutan tidak pernah tewas ketika bertempur biarpun hanya berbekalkan senjata api model lama.

Menurutnya, pemilihan untuk menjadi Komando Qassam perlu melalui syarat ketat, antaranya mereka perlu solat Subuh berjemaah tanpa gagal walau sehari selama enam bulan.
